​Sassi Cakes was established in 2011.
It first started when I was a design student, I visited a famous bakery in New Jersey and became inspired by the "edible art" that they created.
I started putting my love of art and design into baking cupcakes and within time I started receiving requests from friends and family.
I decided to turn my hobby into a business so after graduating I decided to pursue my dream full-time, and purchased the food truck.
Our name was the easiest part of getting started because Sassi is the best way to describe us. "Sassi" is defined as lively, spirited, stylish, and chic,
this is why we say to "bring a little sass to every occasion".
