Red, White, and Blue Smoothie

What you'll need:
- 1 large banana, frozen
- 1 cup plain nonfat Greek yogurt
- ½ cup frozen cherries
- ½ cup frozen blueberries
- 1 ¼ cups unsweetened almond milk
- 3 pitted dates
- 1 cup ice
What to do:
- In a blender, combine 1/4 of the banana, 1 pitted date,1/4 cup nonfat Greek yogurt, 1/2 cup cherries, 1/4 cup milk, and 1/2 cup ice.
- Blend until smooth and divide among 3-4 glasses. If it is hard to blend or you prefer a thinner consistency, feel free to add another ¼ cup of milk and blend again. Be careful to keep sides of glass clean. Place in freezer for 30 minutes to keep layers separate.
- Next, combine 1/2 of the banana,1 pitted date,1/2 cup nonfat Greek yogurt, 1/4 cup milk, and 1/2 cup ice. This will create your creamy white layer. Repeat the same steps as above.
- Add the remaining banana,1 pitted date,1/4 cup nonfat Greek yogurt,1/2 cup blueberries, 1/4 cup milk, and 1/2 cup ice into the blender. Repeat the same steps as above.
- If you are short on time, you do not have to freeze them. You can drink it as it is, but keep in mind the layer will be mixed easily.
